How our society may change over the years? Farenheit 451 is the perfect representation of a society with many flaws, lack of knowledge and technology absorption. It gives you the idea of a monotonoussociety with its day by day living. Ray Bradsbury travels in time to create the futuristic environment of Farenheit 451.The hate towards books, ignorance and the absence of regret while burning downpeople's homes are some of the details that characterize the story. In this critique we will analyze the novel's characters, plot and settings to understand more deeply how the story develops.The most trending part of the story are the characters and their unique personalities. Although there were few characters, each one build up the story in a certain way. They seemed real and did notfelt into stereotypes. Clarisse, for example, is the first hope in the darkness of this society. When she first met Montag she change his perception of the world and remainded him of what was reallyimportant. Other characters such as Captain Beatty and Mildred where also a highlight. They where the opposing forces in the transition that Montag was undergoing. Not so much details about them whererevealed; but as the story takes place their actions make the readers infer their feelings. Captain Beatty can be say to be the antagonist not only for being the head of the firefighters, but alsobecause of his rudeness towards books. These characters were not stable, they all had up and downs in the stories plot generating conflict.

Conflict is the base of the story. The main character,Montag, struggles emotionally while trying to understand how his life end up being so senseless. His wife did not even know him what led Montag to doubt towards their love. Mainly it was only one hugeconflict that confuse the characters; reading books was not aloud so it was a hard task to gain knowledge.
