Estimado Sr. Adolfo Hitler,

Durante algunos días atrás he pensado en escribirle una carta dirigida a Ud., pero me he resistido porque me parecía que unacarta mía sería algo no importante para Ud. Algo me dice que esta carta llegara a sus manos, y que cumplirá con el fin de evitar los hechos que se están dandoactualmente, los cuales desde mi infancia me han enseñado a verlos como actos despreciables para la humanidad. Por eso no puedo desear le el éxito de sus armas.
No estádejándole a su pueblo un legado del que pueda sentirse orgulloso, pues no podrá sentirse orgulloso de recitar una larga lista de crueldades, por muy hábilmente quehayan sido planeadas.

Por consiguiente, apelo a usted, en nombre de la humanidad, para que detenga la guerra y se busque otra forma de llegar acuerdos, más noteniendo como consecuencia la pérdida de vidas inocentes.
