Death Penalty
The death penalty is not a way to solve what a prisoner has done. There have been cases that the prisoner has been innocent and end up injail for something they haven’t done. By killing somebody for a crime won’t solve anything. The family of the victim and the family of the prisoner isgoing to suffer. It would be like an easy way for the prisoner pay for a crime, and it would be better if the person stays in jail and suffer for whatthey have done.
Life without parole is a far bigger deterrent; the death penalty is an easy way out for evil people who couldn't care less about dying.Countries with the death penalty do not have lower murder rates than countries without it. For as long as a wrongly convicted prisoner is alive, they canfight for justice. Murdering them is an easy way out for the authorities to gloss over miscarriages of justice. It is cowardly as the people cannot makethemselves heard if they are dead.
There is still the chance, even with the most advanced DNA techniques, that an innocent man could be killed. Theperson should just pay for what they have done for many years giving them a chance to see if they are guilty or not. However if they are guilty, well theyshould stay in jail and suffer like an animal instead of dying and getting out of the situation. It is time we got rid of this medieval attitude of angryrevenge. And instead punished offenders in a way that will make them take responsibility for what they have done, and improve them as human beings.
