List of LUNs for removal
The table below is the Product LUNs taken over by VIS on July on Solaris system.
And they are what we have to remap direct to host from Sun 6180.
The LUNs in red have beenremoved in PVSERPS1.
The LUNs(12 total) in black are what we have to remove on NOV 12th.(need confirm by customers)

Steps for LUN remap
a. shutdown applicationaccessing DB service running on all the 3 hosts.
b. shutdown DB service on all the 3 hosts.
c. umount correlation filesystem of metasets.
d. change set property (remove the automatic property)
e.release metasets on host.
f. purge metasets on host.
g. scan disks on host.
h. remove mappings of the LUNs form VIS to host.
i. clear the LUNs configuration in VIS.
j. clear remaind informationon host.
k. remap the LUNs direct to host from Sun 6180.
l. scan disk on host.
m. import information of metasets.
n. import metasets.
o. check volume information of metasets
p. mount correlationfilesystem of metasets.
q. start database.
r. start application access database.























Example of steps for LUN remap
Attention:the steps are for the LUNslist in the table.
a. shutdown application accessing DB service running on all the 3 hosts.

b. shutdown DB service on all the 3 hosts.

c. umount correlation filesystem of metasets.
-----umount/PDB07DAT

d. change set property (remove the automatic property)
----- metaset -s PDB07DAT -A disable

e. release metasets on host.
-----metaset -s PDB07DAT -r

f. purge metasets on host.-----metaset -s PDB07DAT -P

g. scan disks on host.
-----cfgadm -al

h. remove mappings of the LUNs form VIS to host.

i. clear the LUNs configuration in VIS.

j. clear remaind information onhost.
-----devfsadm -C

k. remap the LUNs direct to host from Sun 6180.

l. scan disk on host.
-----cfgadm -al

m. check ation of metasets.
-----metaimport -rv

n. import metasets....
