-Simple Present-
For the simple present we use the infinitive verb.
You use in 3rd person Singular (he, she, it)Infinitive + -s
Affirmative form
Subject +verb+complement
I / we / you / they play soccer.
He / she / It plays soccer.
Negative form
Subject + don’t/doesn’tverb+complement
We use the auxiliary do.
I/we/you/they do not play football.
He/she/it does not play football.
NOTE: also we can use short forms in negative sentences in theSimple Present:
Example
I/we/you/they don't play football.
He/she/it doesn't play football.
Questions: we can use the question words
