Customer service is the proviison of service to customers be fore, during and after a purchase.
Its importance varies by products, industry and customer, defective orbroken merchandise can be exchanged, often only with a reclipt and within a specifid tense frame.
From the point of view of an overall sales process engimering effort, customer service plays animportant role in an organization´s ability to generate encome and revenue- from that perspective, customer service should be included as part of an overall approach to systemati improvement.
