Historia de los pueblos anglosajones

Introduction:
As Spanish speaker students of a foreign language called English, we have a lot of things to learn about this language.
Nowadays is very easy to watch an American TV program without translation, to hear some unknown words while we are listening to our favorite music and to get some products which instructions are written in English and wedon’t know exactly what are they for, because we can’t speak this language.
Some of us can, but it wasn’t always like this, first we needed to work hard and to study it for a lot of years and a lot of hours a day.
The hard task of making the perfect sounds to get a perfect pronunciation of the words has always been something really tricky and tough .But if we learn how to do it I can honestly saythat it’s sort of a Piece of cake
In our Mexican minds we have this idea that English Language is something really hard and that we can’t learn a different language.
But the truth is something very different, we can do it we have the capability as other English speakers, but the thing is that sometimes we build a mental barrier.
A good idea before or meanwhile studying a Foreign language istry get some ideas, some history, and try to find out where the new language comes from and what happened before it became into the thing that is now.

English has always been a prototype language; it has not a mother language as Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese which actually come from Latin.
Some of linguist had call it “a borrowed language” because they see it as a big mix of otherlanguages
The next essay is a summary of a lot of handy topics that can lead us to understand English Language and to know a little bit more of the long journey of the consolidation of this as a standard language, which rules our world.

Runic alphabet
The earliest runic inscriptions date from around ad 150. the characters were generally replaced by the Latinalphabet as the cultures that had used runes underwent Christianization by around ad 700 in central Europe and by around ad 1100 in northern Europe . However, the use of runes persisted for specialized purposes in northern Europe. Until the early 20th century runes were used in rural Sweden for decoration purposes in Dalarna and on runic calendars

History and usage

The runes Were in use amongthe Germanic peoples from the 1st or 2nd century AD. This corresponds to the late Period Common Germanic stage linguistically, With A continuum of dialects not yet Separated Into Clearly the three branches of Centuries later, North Germanic , West Germanic , and East Germanic
