The ancients knew several species of watches. Vitruvius speaks of the water clock or hourglass, the air, the sun and other species are unknown.
The Egyptian water clock measured the movements of thesun and are worth half as the illustrious astronomer for comment. London, applied to the chain steel watch for transmitting the movement of the cone drum, replacing the harp strings used before.Two years after clocks were invented recurrence.
Since then, progress has been admirable.
