WHAT IS GRAMMAR?

Grammar is the system of a language . People sometimes describes grammar as the “rules” of a language; but in fact not languages has rules. If we use the word rules, we suggest that somebody created the rules first and then spoke the language like a new game. But languages did not start like that. Languages started by people making sounds which involvedinto words, phrases and sentences. No common spoken languages is fixed all languages change all the time. What we call “grammar” is simple a particular time.

Do we need to study grammar to learn a language?

The short answer is no, very many people in the world speak their own language without having studing grammar. Children start to speak before they even know grammar.But if you are serious about learning a foreing language the long answer is yes. Grammar can help you to learn a language more quickly and more efficently. It is important to think off grammar a something that can help you, like a friend when you understand the grammar (or system) of a language you can understand many things yourself without having to ask a teacher or look a book. Sothink off in grammar a something good, something positive, something that you can use like a signpost or a map.

THE HISTORY OF WRITING

Some of the oldest writing ever found has been came painted stone, rocks and bones where the first thing people used to record writing. Rocks, or caves, bonds of animals where marks made by cave men using sharp sticks, stones or paint. There was notalphabet or writing system that the cavemen had so they used pictures to write down things that were happening in their lives. Early men drew pictures on caves or rocks to leave messages and to honor the spirits. One of the earlest kinds of writing -or a writing system where special symbols use to represent things- is called uniform.....................................................................................................

The phoennicians were the first to created an alphabet – symbols that represent sound not pictures or ideas . The greeks modificate the phoeninician alphabet about 5000 B.C. and it is a lot like the alphabet we use today.

The english alphabet stills uses the same letters, but has added the letters J,U.W. The romans were the first to link the letters togheter to make a flowing kind of writing , or coursive.

WHAT PEOPLE USE TO WRITE

Early men use rocks, stones or bones to carve symbols into other rocks, stones. Or bones.They also used reeds to carve symbols on wet clay.
In egypt a stylus or thin metal rod was used to mark on papyrus the stylus was often made of lead. Dyes from nature were paint used to symbols. Different plants and flowers different colours. Burnt twings or carcoal could also be used to mark on things chalk was found in some places, and could r also be used as a way of writing. Later...
