Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

This book talks about a man, Indiana Jones, who is kidnapped by Irina Spalko and the Russians, and they wanted him to find a magnetized box whichhad something that would give them the victory on the Cold War. After some minutes, Indy escaped from his enemies and he came back to his old life as a teacher in a college.

One day, people fromthe CIA came to his office and registered it looking for some papers about the Russian secrets, and after that situation, the college Principal fired him. A few days later, he went to the train stationto go to New York, but there he met Mutt Williams, a young man who gave him some information about Indy’s old friend, Harold Oxley, and Mutt asked Indy for help to rescue his mom. In the information,he found a paper about South America, so the two men decided to go to Peru, and there they would find the thing that the Russians were looking for, the Akator civilization.

When they arrived toPeru, they went to look for Oxley, but they only found his room at a Psychiatrist Centre, and there they found out that Oxley was totally insane, he draw some skulls with big eyes and he wrote the word“return” many times, so Indy discovered that he was talking about the Nazca lines and about Akator. The legend says that there are a lot of magic things in Akator, so they went to look for that mythicalcity.

After a few hours, when Indy and Mutt were on a cave looking for some clues about Akator, they found a big crystal skull, just like the one that they saw on Oxley’s draws, but in thatmoment, they were captured by the Russians. When they were talking with Spalko, she told them that she has a prisoner with her, it was Oxley, but Mutt and Indy didn’t care too much about him, so Irinashowed them another prisoner, it was Mutt’s mom and Indy’s ex-girlfriend, Marion, so they decided to help Irina to find Akator.
