This resource isan investigation on how music has influence on the life of adolescents and teenagers. It examines different types of music styles and how it affects the behavior and attitude of adolescents. Thispaper consist in four studies that investigate the processes by which music influence adolescents social lives. Study 1 and 2 investigate the stereotyping of fans of particular music styles. Study 3investigates normative beliefs concerning the likely social consequences of publicly advocating a particular musical style. Study 4 explores the relationship between adolescents own musical preferences,their self-image, and their beliefs about the normative characteristics of the fans of certain musical styles. Also results of this study is showed on different tables that represent the preferenceof a certain thing of the listeners and fans of a different music style. This investigation also separates the oblation of their study in adolescents of different ages.

Database. 16 Nov 2012.This resource is about a study to evaluate the efficacy of music therapy in enhancing the self-esteem of academically stressed adolescents. In this investigation they identified 30 adolescents with lowself-esteem and high academic stress. Music therapy was given for a period of 15 days. Results revealed that music therapy enhanced adolescents self-esteem with this therapy. Also this study covers theconsequences of low self-esteem in a student life and that is why music therapy is an effective solution to enhance self-esteem because is based on the associative and cognitive powers of the mind....
