I. Papa Doc
a. Born on April 14, 1907 died on April 21, 1971.
b. He was president from 1957 until 1971.
c. On May 1959 he had a massive heart attack due to aninsulin overdose.
d. Was a very suppressing government, he used political murder and expulsion to suppress his opponents; the estimates of murder were 30,000.
e. He was voodoo priest and he allowedevil spirits to get inside his body. He kept the head of his former opponent, who tried to overthrow him, in his closet.
f. He had a medical degree from the University of Haiti but he wasn´ttechnically a doctor.
g. The Tonton Macoutes was a paramilitary group formed by Papa Doc. They practiced necklacing and were distinguish by wearing dark sun glasses.
h. He often stole Haiti’sgovernment’s funds and the money that the U.S and other countries donated and put it in his personal accounts.
i. He used the belief of his people of voodoo to frighten them and keep them suppressed.II. Baby Doc

b. He gained money by involving himself in drug trading and in selling body partsof the dead Haitians and also by a tobacco administration. The money from the tobacco he put it in his personal account and not the fiscal one.
c. His family and the one of his wife’s wereabsolutely corrupted, they sold Haitian cadavers to medical schools and also used for trafficking in narcotics.
d. In 1993 he lost most of his wealth after divorcing his wife.
e. His wife, MicheleBennett was also very corrupt along with her family. They were into drug dealing and they sold Haitian cadavers
f. He left to France for twenty years as a self-imposed exile. When he returned hewas arrested by the police facing charges against him for corruption and embezzlement.
g. He and his wife also stole the fund of the Haitian government and used those funds to buy extravagant...
