So today you´re all tourists and we planned a trip to England for you.

LONDON

Buckingham Palace
It´s the Queen´s official London residence and it is used for ceremonial and official occasions for the Royal Family.
It was originally built in 1705 for the Duke of Buckingham.
It´s19 staterooms, ballroom and gardens are open to visitors during August and September, while the Queenmakes her annual visit to Balmoral.
The staterooms house some of the Royal Family´s greatest treasures.
There is an entry fee and tickets are limited, so you should book ahead if possible.

Changing the guard
The Changing the guard Ceremony takes place in the forecourt of Buckingham Palace at 11.30 every day in summer, every other day in winter. Two soldiers in scarlet tunics and tallblack bearskin caps march along The Mall, from St James’s Palace to Buckingham Palace accompanied by a full 35-piece military band. The guardsmen line up for inspection and the baton is passed from one regiment to the next, whose job it is to guard the Queen for the next 24 hours.

The British Museum
It houses a world collection of art and antiquities from ancient and living cultures that spanstwo million years of history. There are over 7 Million artifacts housed in the museum representing every history period from the Vikings to the Romans to the Egyptians and Medieval Europe.
Entry to the museum is free.

St. Paul´s Cathedral
It has witnessed many significant events in Britain’s history, including the state funeral of Sir Winston Churchill and the marriage of Prince Charles andPrincess Diana.
A visit to St Paul’s Cathedral offers 1200 years of history as well as the chance to climb the 237 steps to the top of the spectacular Dome.

Tower of London
Built by William the Conqueror in the early 1080s the Tower's role has been as a powerful fortress, palace and prison.
One of the main reasons to visit the To wer is to see the priceless collection of Crown Jewels. Thereare 23,578 gems in the collection including one of the world's most famous diamonds; the Koh-I-Noor.

Many people lost their heads in the Tower and the Prisoners exhibition looks at some of the Towers more infamous inmates including Anne Boleyn, Edward V, Guy Fawkes and Sir Thomas More. The Tower's history as a prison continued during the two world wars and still held executions.

Don’t missRoyal Beasts and learn about the wild and wondrous animals that have inhabited the Tower, making it the first London Zoo. At the end you can join an iconic Beefeater on a tour and hear their bloody tales, stand where famous heads have rolled, learn the legend of the Tower's ravens, storm the battlements and get to grips with swords and armour and much more.
Tower Bridge
Built between 1886 and1894, Tower Bridge is the only of the London Bridges that can allow the passage of ships underneath it, by opening its bascules.
The south tower contains the Tower Bridge Museum where among other things, the original Victorian steam-driven machinery that was used to raise and lower the bridge, can be found. The Tower Bridge Experience is also found here. This is an extensive exhibitiondemonstrating the history of the bridge in the form of films and holograms.

Big Ben or Elizabeth Tower
It is the great bell inside the clock tower at the Houses of Parliament in Westminster. The name is also used to refer to the tower itself.
The clock was built in 1859 and it is 96 meters high and there are nearly 400 steps to the top. It isn´t open to the general public or foreign visitors, so youwill only be able to watch it from the outside.

London Eye or Millennium Wheel
It´s the tallest Ferris Wheel in Europe (135 m). It provides stunning views over Central London and beyond.
Visitors are treated to a gently paced half-hour ride in space age capsules holding 25 people each. An increasingly popular idea is to visit the Eye at nighttime when the view is perhaps at its most magical....
