December 21st
Surfing on Bondi Beach. Lots of sharks1 . The lifeguards watch the water with binoculars2. A bit scary!
December 22nd
Visit tothe powerhouse Museum. Lots of new things there!
Enormous old stem trains3 you can get in the driver`s seat. Most museums are boring4, but not this one!
December23rd
A long drive5 (about 500 kilometers) to Warrunbungle National Park.
A lot of kangaroos, one with a baby in its pocket6! Didn`t know that kangaroos of all sizeshave one thing in common, powerful back light7 with long feet. Kangaroos are the only large animals to use hopping as a means of locomotion8. I also saw parrots,kookaburra, koalas and lots of fantastic birds.
December 24th
Snorkeling in Jervis Bay (about two hours9 from Sydney). Warm and clean water.
You can see lots ofcolorful10 fish.
December 25th
Christmas day. No snow!
The temperature11 is high (32º C. in the shade) A turkey barbecue un the garden and lots of presents12.Wonderful!
