Van Gogh, who despite having received death threats eluded police protection, was killed shortly after by a DutchIslamist of Moroccan origin in the street. Van Gogh was traveling by bicycle to work when a certain Mohammed Bouyeri, 26, a member of a radical Islamic group, shot him, knocking him off the bicycle. Bouyeri, wearing a hijab eventually finished him off at close range on the floor with twenty more shots, stabbed him several times and finally beheaded.

TRADITIONS

In Islam every member of society has a set of rights and duties. A human being who accepts this religion is required to guide their life according to these rules.
In general, the law of Islamimposes four kinds of rights and duties in man:

1. The duty to God, that every man is obliged to comply.
The Quran encourages man to reflect and be in constant remembrance of God, obey its mandates, accept the divine will and decree, repent constantly and know your role on this earth is to worship one God and please, Muhammad said:

2. The duties of man from himself.
The Koran states that God does not change the situation of a people or a society to which individuals in it change what is in themselves,about the body, mind and soul
