The History Of A Dog
Canelo
"Canelo" was the dog of a man who lived in Cadiz in the late 80's. He followed his master everywhere and at all times. This anonymous man lived alone, so the good dogwas his most loyal friend and his only companion.
Every morning could see them walking together through the streets of the city.. Once a week the man need go to the Hospital, because this man hadcomplications undergoing so he needed dialysis. -Muny
Obviously, in a hospital an animal can not enter, he always left Canelo waiting at the door of it. The man left of his dialysis, and togetherthey headed home. This was a routine that had served for a long time.
One day the man suffered a complication in the midst of his treatment, doctors were unable to overcome it and he died in hospital.Meanwhile, "Canelo" as always, was waiting outside for his master by the door of the health center. But his master never came again. - Jess
The dog sat there, waiting for 12 years. Neither hungernor thirst away from the door. Day after day, cold, rain, wind or heat was lying on the hospital door waiting for his friend to go home.
The locals realized the situation and felt the need to care forthe animal. They took turns to carry water and food, the locals always prtec Canelo. Andrea
Twelve years ago, something amazing, it was time that the noble animal waiting outside the hospital wentout of his master. Never got bored and went in search of food, nor sought a new family. He knew his only friend had gone through that door, and that he should wait to return home together. -lotsoThe wait was extended until December 9, 2002, which when Canelo died outside the hospital.
Canelo's story was well known throughout the city of Cadiz. The town of Cadiz, in recognition of the love,dedication and loyalty of Canelo put his name to a street and a plaque in his honor.
