I’m the human resource manager of anglo American this is an important and one of the largest mining company, this private mineworks with the principal commodity of Chile, it name is copper .In other countries , like autralia and africa we work with iron, diamons and platinium.
I have beenworking in this firm for 20 years , my principal responsibilities as a manager of this area are be aware of de capabilities of each members, give them the besttools(herramientas),that can go in pro of their development(desarrollo, formacion) ,motivate our members to take new challenges and insure to still working on each area,search information align the objectives of Anglo, select the best material to use, including interviews, select people with the abilities to work here, work hard toimprove the areas with new members, make reallocations when the situation needs it using our reallocation system.
Our human resource is the central component ofour operational area, a workforce with the right skills ,experience and training are what we need ,that is the reason of the importance of my work, I have to findand select the correct persons with the necessaries abilities for the anglo group.
In fact and we work with the best strategies around the world to check and choicethe personal , we try to give a better workplace day by day,we do not tolerate any form of discrimination , it is usually work with people of united kingdom,unite states, south America and cental America.
We believe than human resource is probably the most important part and the motor of the operation of our business.
