Introduction
Since along time ago I have had the ansios to read that book so, I wanted to take this opportunity to doit. “Scar Tissue” it’s autobiography about the Front-man of Red Hot Chili Peppers band. It was released in 2004 Kiedis with Larry Sloman, who compiled information and interviews of all the peopleinvolved in Red Hot Chili Peppers an Anthony Kiedis’s life. The story starts from his birth in 1962 to 2004. It follows Kiedis into the depth of his experiences with drug addiction. The title name wastaken from the single "Scar Tissue" released five years earlier on the Red Hot Chili Peppers album named “Californication”.
Analysis
Anthony Kiedis was borned in 1st November 1962 in Michigan,US. He grew up with a very disfuctional family, a single Mother and a drug-addicted Father. In the 60’s and 70’s when Anthony was in his fisrt childhood, when he was just a kid, lived a lot differentsexperiences with drugs with his father who introduced Anthony to drugs at a preteen age. The book tell about how was for him lived those experiences, and how they affected his development in theadult life.
Anthony tell us how was when he moved on to California with his father and their introduced of the fame world in Hollywood. With the hand of his fahter, he started to know a lot ofdifferents famous people, and living the life of an adult when he was just a child; he went to dance clubs and pubs to join his fahter’s business with drugs. When Kiedis entered elementary school, histeachers would look down upon him with disgust. This lasted all through his years of school. Anthony was very mature for his age because for the life that his father gave him. Was very difficult to himaddapted to the normal function of the School, beacuase when all the kids most to be in bed, he was in a dance club with his father “dealings”.
