Summary
Jamal is a participant in the Indianversion of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? , Led bye Prem Kumar. He had won 10,000,000 of rupees and reached the final questions, for twenty million ruppes, which would answer the next day.
Jamal explainedthat while at least the questions of Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan was very easy, knew the answer to most questions by chance because of what had happened in his life, conveyed in a series offlashbacks in documenting the details of his childhood.
In memory of Jamal, Salim is prepared to be part of an operation Maman, in which he asked to bring Jamal to blind him. Salim protects her brother,and three children to escape, but only he and Jamal are able to do, jumping on a train. Latika runs alongside the train and takes the hand of Salim, but he let go on purpose, so the child returns to becaptured by the gangsters and the train departs.
The brothers live as they can, traveling on the roof trains, selling goodas, stealing and scamming unsuspecting tourist at the Taj Mahal ponsin astour guides. When found, they discover that Maman had become a prostitute whose virginity was valuable and could be sold to a very high price.
Jamal returns to lose contact whit latika when Javed movedto another house on the outskirts of Bombay. In another attempt to find her, Jamal is part of the popular TV show Who Wants to be a Millonaire, knowing that she would see.
