Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work; but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God; in it you shall not do anywork.
The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath; so the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.

Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the Lord your God gives you.
He was obedient to them.
The Lord Jesus himself recalled the force ofthis "commandment of God." The Apostle teaches: "Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother,' (This is the first commandment with a promise.) ‘that it maybe well with you and that you may live long on the earth.'"
V. Thou shalt not kill.
