The aim of this paper is to show some of the likely trends in communications in Venezuela, as well as possible changes that may occur within society. For this study guide is taken as the information of some related articles or other publications subject to base their communications trends for the next century worldwide. In addition to these sources, was alsocollected information on Venezuela from newspaper articles, magazines, major communications companies in the country, as Conatel regulatory agency, etc.. All in order to draw conclusions and deductions as possible approximate the state of communications in Venezuela since 2000.
In this work shall be made in technologies and services ready to be taken to the next century, there was commentregarding technology trends, future projects, etc., and its incidence in Venezuela.
Another section will be given some insights and conclusions, by the author in relation to the influence of these trends on society in Venezuela based on the current situation in this countryChapter I


Trends in Communications


At the present time, within the global environment, advances in communications have been very fast. Every time something comes on the market for us is innovative, enjoy and benefit from its advantages, however, it turns out almost simultaneously another more sophisticated product and what we thought beforethe latest wonder is now obsolete. This is happening not only at the level of communication, but also in other sectors such as computing, automotive, electronics, etc..

As a typical case we can make mention of Mobile Phones. In this wireless communication technology, has made clear its rapid development in this country.Until a few years, cell phones were relatively large and not very functional,however, for us was extraordinary, with the passage of these short years, the presentation of these phones has been such that at the moment is available in the market for mobile devices with relatively small, comfortable and highly functional.
