AVAL
Garantía total o parcial del pago de una letra de cambio y, en general, de un título de crédito.
Artículos 111, 112 y 113.
La inserción del aval y su fórmula expresa o equivalente debe constar en el documento o, en su defecto, estaremos en presencia de un aval no inválido, sino inexistente. La firma del avalista, como la manifestación unilateralde su voluntad de querer obligarse de esa forma debe, por supuesto, constar en el documento o, en su defecto, estaremos una vez más en presencia de un aval inexistente.
Debe consignarse la cantidad por la que se extiende el aval, ya que es posible garantizar el pago sólo de una parte del valor del título. En su defecto, se entenderá que el avalista garantiza la totalidad. (Art. 112),
