Postmodernism and ModernismPOSTMODERNISM
Postmodernism is an approach that denies the existence of a single fixed reality, and pays special attention to text and to discourses that is the way how people talk and write aboutsomeone or something. A central idea of postmodernism is that there is no single objective reality but there is a multiplicity of experiences and perspectives.
Postmodernism contrary to realism says thatthere are unitary actors, no single actors
The principal characteristics of postmodernism are:
1) A scheme of totalized culture
2) Opposition to traditional authority
3) Believe ininternationalism
4) Promotion of the popular culture
5) Equality
It subscribes to the idea that modernity is not a model and merely an instance that shaped the political system.Post-modernists believe that the actual situation was created by human beings and what is conceived to be truth was actually a "choice" made for someone, post modernity is a restructuration of the traditionalforms.

MODERNITY

Modernity explains how economics, politics, the society and the culture are related in the history of the world. This iswhere the capitalism idea rises.
This idea started in the west of Europe, and it became to dominate all the rest of the world creating a relation of domination in the countries and it create the modeof capitalist production
