THE MUSIC WITH US
We know that the music is an art to express our feelings, ideas and other sensations that we couldn´t imagine.For many years, this was considerated as universal language, but now is define as universal phenomenon that is part of each culture. Besides, we shouldn´t forget thatthanks to the music exist many wonderful compositors, which song words and the melody are magnificent and we can listen in the radio, on the TV, on the Internet, etc. However, is important tomention one of the groups of rock more representative of the music that is considerate one of the best, they are Evanescence.
Evanescence is a group of rock and alternative metal from United Statesthat was funded to Amy Lee and Ben Moody in 1995.In the summer of 1994, in a camp Ben Moody knew to Amy Lee who was playing the piano, specially the notes of "I'd Do Anything for Love" of MeatLoaf, was in that moment that he proposed to her to create a group. For a long time the group would only consist to Amy and Ben.
Previously the group used names such as Childish Intentionsand Stricken until Amy Lee chose the word "Evanescence". Under this name in 1997 they began recording a song called "Understanding” but only was the first in that year.
In 1999, David Hodges isthe new keyboardist who collaborated in the composition of new Amy´s songs and that was coincidence, because they start recording an album called “Origin”. With 11 songs and 2 outtakes that wasconsidered to Amy Lee as a CD of demos.
Between 2000 and 2001 they recorded a lot of demos and songs that weren´t officially released on any album, but these can be download on the internetin her official web page. Then in 2003-2004 their next album would be “Fallen”, thanks to this they won 6 platinum only in United States and around the world they bought 14 million copies.
