General Purpose: To inform
Specific Purpose: I would like the audience to know how hard the rehabilitation of an alcoholic is. The poses they go through, because alcoholism is a disease that fewpeople are able to survive without dameges in their lifes later on.
I. Introduction
A. To interpret the treatment of alcoholism we have to, first understand what alcoholism is. Peopleclassify alcoholism as a bad habit, however few people understand that is a disease.
1. Is also known as “alcohol dependent syndrome”
2. Insatiable desire: the desire or need strong and compulsivedrinking.
3. Loss of control: the frequent inability to stop drinking once
the person has begun.
B. alcoholic person cannot suddenly abandon the drug, medical and psychological treatment is need it .Otherwise the person may experience a medical disorder known as "Delirium tremens”
II. Main Body
A. Who does it affect?
1. The alcohol affects the male population more than the female. For everywoman who shows this addiction there are five men.
2. It is a kind of addiction that is increasingly on the rise throughout the world and is very significant progression among young.
B. The steps toget out of hell.
1. For people that suffer this from alcoholism, they do not realize it, and think they can stop anytime, yet most of the time it does not happened.
2. The first persons, who canhelp, are the families. They have to convince the drinker the need to abandon the habit of drinking.
3. Second, the drinker that wants to get out of this, they have to admit they have a problem.
4.Already recognized this need, the process of detoxification and abstinence should begin.
C. What comes next?
1. Surpassed that stage, rehabilitation starts
2. Is done under medical supervision,because the doctor is able to provide medicines that reduce the need for alcohol.
