The Rude or The Professional?

People, in all kind of jobs, are controlled by power and forces from higher charges at different situations. In Tony Scott’s popular movie, “Crimson Tide” we cansee that the submarine captain is a very imperative person who is recognized as an “old guard” marine, who makes always what he think that’s better but sometimes is wrong because he is strongly guidedby his authority. Hunter, a second official, being his subordinate, with no experience in war before, shows Ramsey, his captain, that strong and imperativeness is not always the better solution at thetime of managing different situations.

The Movie is about a threat of war between Russia against USA and Japan. US navy is on high alert about the situation and send the nuclear submarine U.S.SAlabama to patrol around the Pacific Ocean and be ready for the launching of nuclear missiles if the war starts. The crew is kind of scared of the war, stressed and wanted the war not to get started, andtheir Captain Ramsey wasn’t comprehensive with them and was very rude to them.
The problem starts there, where the marines were stressed and were fearful about what could happen if the war gotstarted. Hunter, the second official, told Ramsey about that, called his attention, and told him to give them moral support but Ramsey just told them “The one who is scared or stressed, can leave the boatnow!” A good manager really needs to support his employees, but this guy just screamed and was rude to them. A boss cant just lead a company being imperative; he needs to give his employees asupport so they can really work the way they need to do so, and being more effective.
Then arrived a statement announcing to attack, and when they were preparing the nuclear missiles, when a new messagestarted coming, but it was interrupted by a Russian submarine attack. The message could not be finished coming, but they launched some missiles against the attacker and it sank, but the Alabama was...
