In Nicaragua nearly one out of two people lives below the poverty line, meaning they have one or less than a dollar per day. Children are the first to suffer from this sad economic situation, given that families are big, and the amount of money they receive is miniscule.

Another cause of poverty is the lack of education they receive making them vulnerable. It is estimated that 46% of kidsthat start school never get into 5th grade of elementary school. Around five hundred thousand children, making it half of all teenagers do not attend school. In recent years the number has declined, due of school tuition, meaning they don’t have to pay for education anymore.

Health is another issue Nicaraguan children must face. The infant mortality rate remains very high, most certainly.Because, they lack of structure and have inadequate personnel. HIV has remained a cause for concern. In recent years the negative effects of AIDS on children lives are incontestable.

Children rights say child abuse it’s illegal and morally wrong. But, then we see that 15% of children are forced to work so they can help alleviate financial difficulties that their families face. Most of these childrenare utilized for the worst forms of works, and, only 20% of them receive earnings.most of them work about 47 hours per week.

National laws are very vague in aspects such as physical child abuse. They say corporal punishment is forbidden except with regard to disciplinary corrections. They can’t end up violence with more violence with more violence it must never be acceptable under any kind ofsituation.

Thousands of Nicaraguan children suffer a lot of discrimination given that they are indegenors even African. This and other obstacles impede their ability to exercise their most fundamental rights. Causing them to don’t have the right to practice their own costumes and have their own culture isn’t sufficiently respected by Nicaraguan society.

Discriminating people withdisabilities is another aspect human rights don’t apply what they say. Statistics show that 12 out of 100 children have some type of disability. The law says there must be institutions so they help them rehabilitate and later on they can offer them opportunities. But, other isn’t even 1 governmental institution for this cause. Especial education has been declined for the past last years.

Childmarriage is a common thing done in Nicaragua. More than 40% of young girls are married while they are still minors. The minimum age is 18 years and with parental consent 14 years for girls and 15 for boys. Getting married at this age can provoke hazardous consequences in their children life.10 million girls early marry each year which is one girl every 3 seconds.

some girls think their inly option isto ger marries at an early age.they justify themselves by saying that by gettibg married at an early age they prevent from beeing sexually abused, which is ridiculous guven that after they get married their new husbands sexually abuse of them, and the mayority of them barely know them.
They also suffer from pure pressure from their neighbors and family, because in some places al Nicaragua earlymarriage is a part of a costume or a tradition. Some parents think it is also a way to assure a better future for their girls, which is illigical because most of them leave school and with it a primary necesity in their lives.
Early marriage brings a lot of consequences for them. Such as domestic violence. Guven that women whi marry at this early age have more possibilities to think that it isok fron their husbands to abuse of them. In another hand not receiving educatiib provides less opportunities for yhem to receive earnings causing them to live in a poverty state, economical and cultural.
