Good Afternoon everyone. My name’s Sandrino Cuadra , I work for MVP, I work in the Computing SupportDepartment and today I’m gonna talk about the Hard Disk.
First I’m gonna talk about it definition, then I’m gonna talk about it history. Ifyou have any question. I’ll be happy to answer them at the end.
Well. To start the hard disk is a data storage device that employs anon-volatile magnetic recording system for storing digital data.
Who?
The first hard disk was invented by the IBM Corporation in early 1956 onbehalf of the United States Air Force. It was called RAMAC 305 (the name means Random Access Method of Accounting and Control)
When?
The firsthard disk, appeared in 1956, was the Ramac I, submitted with the IBM 350 computer: it weighed a ton and its capacity was 5 MB
Why?
The firsthard disk is created on the need to save the information generated.
Conclution
Well to complete the creation of the hard drive has been awonderful thing for our time to save all the information we have.
Personally, I dare say it is one of the most wonderful inventions of moderntimes, because every day we are related to their use
