The narrator receives a letter from his friend Roderickin which he tells the narrator who is very ill and needs to go see him. The narrator is Roderick's only friend since childhood, although not seen since, so he wrote the letter to him. When the narratorarrives home sees is very old and it is very mysterious, and makes the narrator feel very sad. Enter the house and is greeted by a servant, and on the stairs is the family doctor, who is veryconcerned. Upload Roderick's room and finds him very weak, his face pale but with the same eyes and same slim as ever. They talked and Roderick told his friend that he had a rare disease that made him feelall much heavier than the other people, you hurt all and was very delicate, and would soon die. |
