Why believing in God´s existence?
“Could there be a more important question in all of human existence than „Is there a God‟?” 1 asked once the geneticist Francis S. Collins. Undoubtedly all of us have made it too, at least once in our lives. Some people, like atheists, answer it with a big “No!” Alternatively, religious people affirm that God exists. Nevertheless,today there are lots of people who still doubt about the existence of a god, mainly because many scientists do not believe in Him and many of the world‟s religions have a different concept of „God‟. Perhaps, you are one of those who do not believe in God‟s existence because you cannot see Him. Or you just do not believe in creationism. Therefore, the concept of the God Creator mentioned in the Bibleis not possible for you. Or maybe you think that God cannot exist because there is evil in the world. But, have you ever thought like that? Or before you get to that conclusion did you examine a set of evidence that persuade you? Do you think there is any way to find an answer to the issue about the existence of God? What is more, is there a satisfactory answer which appeals to the reason as muchas the feelings? What could be more valuable for you than find it? If you search in both science as well as the Bible, you could do so. Through this essay, all these previously mentioned issues are going to be analyzed, for the purpose of proving that God does really exist, and He has shown Himself to the humanity through His design and creation, together with His inspired Word the Bible.

Firstof all, why do still some people think there is no God? Most of these people agree in their arguments. They think that the existence of God is illogical, antiscientific, or just something that has to do with faith. The most common thing that they do is to assume that could not be logical believe in the existence of something which they cannot see. Nowadays, it is really common to find people whoalways think “seeing is believing”, and nobody has ever seen God, have they? Secondly, Creationism is thought as a belief which could not be realistic because, as they say, it is something which has not be proved scientifically. And one of the most well-known experiments cited as evidence that spontaneous generation may have occurred in primitive times, instead of creationism,

is Stanley Miller's experiment, conducted in 1953, in which primitive kind of chemical „lives‟ were created simulating the hypothetical conditions of the first or primitive atmosphere. And today, people still believe in scientific theories related with the origins of the universe, earth and/or life. For example, „The BigBang‟ theory explains that life was created at random, as a result of an accident. And when there are scientific facts supporting something, it is what all of us should believe, isn´t it? Hence, believing in creationism and in a creator is not scientific, according to what they say. And there are some others who find hard to believe in the concept of an all-loving and omnipotent God. Because when theynotice mankind suffering, they lost their faith in god´s existence. For instance, David Hume, a Scottish philosopher well-known for his skepticism, set out this point calling it: „The problem of evil‟. He argued that such a God should not permit evil and distress in the world. In spite of all these arguments, why do some people believe in God´s existence? What do God believers think about thesepoints of view? Are they all wrong?

The truth is that they have powerful reasons to believe that there is a God. Let us analyze why some people still believe that God exist, although these arguments.
