Good Morning Presidents, Delegates, Ladies and Gentlemen:

“We make war so wemay live in peace” - Aristotle

The delegation of the Federative Republic of Brazil, claims to be against using force to solve conflicts between two, religions, gangs, political ways and else. This delegation thinks that it is not possible to solve violence with more violence. This matter has caused clashes between gangs in all the country, and by this, sometimes, some side of the conflict–either the police force or some criminal gang- has taken reprisal assassinating someone innocent.
The delegation of Brazil hopes that some nearby nations provide support to the actual organisms that are trying to stop this abuse.

Thanks to all attendants.

That’s one of the main reasons of why there is a problem of overcrowding in the prisons of the state, the forced work continues to be part of thecountry even with the measures the government has taken.
In a lot of cities of Brazil, the violence cause for criminal gangs prevails and it’s pretty common that the police –in response of this- use uncontrolled and abusive force. The violence affects mostly the low-resourced community. For example in Rio de Janeiro, hundreds of civilians remain under the control of drug trafficking gangs which...
