Preguntas Directas
Si
necesitas transformar las oraciones
directas en preguntas, debes emplear el
auxiliar Does cuando el sujeto en la frase
es He, She o It, y para You, They oWe
debes emplear el auxiliar Do.
Forma
correcta: Does he like
swimming? ¿Le gusta nadar?
Forma
incorrecta: Does he likes
swimming?
Nota: Recuerda que en las
preguntas afirmativas que
contienenDoes, el verbo no lleva
“s” al final (likes, lives, goes).
Preguntas directas con What, Why,
When, How y Who
Why
do you want this job? ¿Porqué quieres este trabajo?
What is your name? ¿Cuál estu nombre? Como te llamas?
When did you see the advertisement? Cuando viste el anuncio?
How much do you earn? ¿Cuánto ganas?
Where do you live? ¿Dónde vives?
Who gave you my name? ¿Quién tedio mi nombre?
Nota:
luego de colocar When, How o Who, emplea el
auxiliar Do o Does, el sujeto y finalmente el resto de
la oración. Con Who, What no necesariamente debes
utilizar los auxiliares.Preguntas Indirectas
Para preguntar de manera más formal hay que considerar
las siguientes formas:
Would you mind telling me..?. Te importaría decirme…?
Can you tell me…? Usted puedes decirme…?
Could you tell me…? Podría decirme…?
Nota:
no debes utilizar auxiliares.
Preguntas de Confirmación
Son
preguntas cortas que realiza el emisor al
final de la oración con intención deenfatizar.
You have finished your exam. Haven't you? –Ha
terminado su examen. No es así?
He doesn't speak German. Does he? - Él no habla
alemán. El?
¿Cómo se construye la "pregunta dconfirmación"?
Su estructura es muy simple:
verbo auxiliar (de la oración principal) + pronombre
personal
Your brother has bought a new car. Hasn't he? - Tu
hermano ha comprado un coche nuevo. No...
