She knows how to be a good nurse.
not: She is knowing how to be agood nurse.
The girl looks pretty.
not: The girl is looking pretty.
She seems nice.
not: She is seeming nice.
I know her; she is my friend.
not: I am knowing her; she is being myfriend.
The thief has my jewelry!
not: The thief is having my jewelry!
That jewelry belongs to me.
not: That jewelry is belonging to me.
I want to stop him!
