Steps to the Learning Technique
Step 1: Read and analyze the background of the problem.
With this the student checks the understanding of the stage through thediscussion of the same in his study group.
Step 2: Make a list of the hypothesis, ideas, and hunches.
The students usually have theories o hypothesis about the causes of theproblem; or ideas of how to resolve the problem. These ideas have to be listed and they will be accepted o rejected, according to the advance in the investigation.
Step 3: Makea list of what we know
It has to make a list of all that the group knows about the problem or situation.
Step 4: Make a list of the unknown
Make a list of all the thingsthat the group thinks of what to do to resolve the problem. They’re a lot of types of question that can be appropriate; some can relate with concepts or beginnings that haveto be studied to resolve the situation.
Step 5: Make a list of all the things that have to do to resolve the problem
Plan the investigation. Make a list of all the thingsthat have to be made.
Step 6: Get Information
The group will locate, collect, organize, analyze and interpret information of different sources.
Step 8: Present resultsThe group will present a report or a presentation were they show the recommendations, predictions, inferences or all that is convenient in relation to the resolve of theproblem.

-Collect theinformation with his study group.

Roles of the teacher and students in PBL
-Advice or guide
-Response to generate the situations.
-Give segments to the activities made.
