Introduction In this final paper we are going to talk about needs, self-esteem, friendships and conflict. First we are going to talk about some important needs in theclassroom, like affection, which is a basic need for a good development in a classroom and we are going to talk about motivation too; motivation is a need that can really help us in the group development. Then, we’re going to explain the definition of self-esteem, and depending on your self-esteem how this affects your academic performance, we will also explain the self-esteem theory, the status that ourself-esteem can provoke and what can the teacher do to bust your self-esteem and collide the status made by the group, along with our opinions of our group. About friendship we are explain what we really need to have a good relationship and how we can act in the academic environment and in the family. And in the last part, we are going to explain the definition of conflict and why is important.Also, we are going to explain the four types of conflict that often occur in a classroom: conflicts over procedures, goals, concepts or opinions, and interpersonal relationships. We are going to give our points of view and what the authors say.

1. 1. Affection

According to Barrull: Usually we identified affect asemotion, but affect and emotion are two different concepts; although they are related. Emotion is the individual response that reports of the survival offered for each situation; affect is a process interaction between two or more individuals. We can say that affect is something that we can give to others or receive from others. We know we affect is something that we can accumulated and affectrequires of a little of effort. Affection is essential in humans; No opinion negates the need for affection that all humans have. In this sense, we all have the feeling that the human species requires a large amount of affection. Affection is a necessity for all social agencies as it relates to work that a body made ​​for the benefit of another. In the evolution of social species to levels morecomplex social structure, new behavior whose function is to maintain the social structure of the species. In humans appear norms, values, rituals and emotional signals whose function is to maintain the social structure of the group. The true nature of love is the ability of each individual to make an effort or work on behalf of others. Provide affection when we perform a specific job in survivalbenefit of another person or other living creature. Give affection means to help others, provide for their welfare and survival.
