East Africa Crisis that internationally came into discussion for immediate help until July, 2011, when ECOSOC declared famine in several regions, even though the international community was informedforecasting this crisis since 2008, is still threatening the lives of millions. At least 2 million could die in the next year mostly due to lack of food, water, medicines and resources. Today, lowfood and grain reserves are again causing increased pricing. Though much aid has been sent to these countries, cumulative rains are still not enough, so the drought is not over and they have notrecovered. Mainly Somalia, Kenya and Ethiopia are at risk, though Uganda, Djibouti, Sudan and South Sudan are also suffering. Some of these countries were not economically or socially capable of givingtheir inhabitants basic life quality for survival before the drought; for example, Somalia had huge internal conflicts due to extreme groups. Therefore, these countries still deserve attention andorganized international help in order to have better opportunities to survive and live in an unthreatening environment.

Brazil is presently in solid progress with a GDP of $2, 294 trillion, ranking 8in the world. We have helped before, as many other countries have, by sending food and water to these communities through ECOSOC, one of the most important committees involved in this project. Webelieve that planned international help should continue to cover distinct areas in order to assure sustainable infrastructure and supporting institutions, until these countries are secured enough tocontinue their development and offer their inhabitants a fair quality of life.
The solution that we propose includes strongly organized aid focused on the different areas in which these Africancountries are having problems.
