1. Who really is Sophie?
Sophie represents the reason, curiosity and doubt of Hilde, acharacter that lives Sophie’s life in a parallel dimension, because she is always asking about everything, doubting about different aspects in her life. But I think that she also represents the mostimportant of the ideas of the coronel because he invented her, he thought about her and her travelling and is his knowledge source. Sophie is also the knowledge, because after travelling through time sheacquires knowledge, learned and gathered information from her trips.

2. What is the role of A. Knox?
For me, he was like the key or the ticket/pass to enter the world of knowledge. He was likea tutor for Sophie and helps her to understand her new discoveries. He worked as a guide, the answer to many of her questions, but not all of them.

3. What is the role of the dog?
I think thatthe dog is kind of a guide that showed Sophie the way to find the door to knowledge. It was also the media, the communication between Sophie and her near future full of discoveries.

4. Who doesSophie’s mother represent?
She is the ignorant part. She just keeps the routine and does not care about anything outside that, she does not look for answers for the mysteries of life.

5. Whichare the philosophers portrayed?
Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas, Copernicus, Leonard Da Vinci, William Shakespeare, Friedrich Nietzsche.

6. What is the final message of the movie?This movie opens the possibility of the existence of an entire World made of Ideas and thoughts. It can make us think that we may really be that world of ideas, just parallel to another dimension.7. Who’s the major?
The major is the creator of Sophie’s World, the coronel. But he can be interpreted like god, who is thought to be the creator of our own world, the one that make his ideas...
