Best Buy to close 50 U.S. stores, stock drops

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Best Buy's stock took a dive on Thursday after the retailer reported quarterly results that included plans to close 50 big- box stores in the U.S. by 2013.
The company said it plans to open the same number ofstores in China during the same time period.
Best Buy currently has 1,105 big-box stores in the U.S., not counting the pending closures, according to company spokeswoman Kelly Groehler. In China, there are 185 stores under the company's Five Star brand, she said.
Best Buy has struggled to compete in a market that has become increasingly dominated by online retailers like Amazon
Best Buy said itwas closing the stores to lower costs. The company projects $250 million in savings in fiscal year 2013. The company plans to save $800 million in costs by fiscal year 2015.

BlackBerry CEO: 'Substantial change needed




NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- It's "new CEO, same old problems" for BlackBerry maker Research In Motion, sparking promises ofbig changes at the struggling smartphone maker.
RIM reported a large loss and disappointing sales on Thursday, marking a difficult first quarter for new CEO Thorsten Heins.
"I am convinced that substantial change is what we need."
BlackBerry's best advantages -- excellent security on its phones and the popular BlackBerry Messenger service -- are no longer enough, he said. Rivals have developedcompetitive tools.
The new CEO said the next several quarters will be difficult ones as the company transitions to a new, bet-the-house platform called BlackBerry Meanwhile, Heins said the company is exploring partnerships with other companies that could build its hardware or software. Heins said he is exploring all options -- even a sale of the company.
Following quarter after quarter of slashedfinancial outlooks and missed targets, the company made the ominous choice to discontinue making future predictions about its BlackBerry sales or profit.

PEÑOLES will rise investment at 20% or 30% in 2012

This company part of the mining industry had reported sales of 7.7 thousand million USD at the end of the year 2011, witha total investment of 1,000 million USD.

The other factors that rest competitivity are the sustainable energies, because in other countries that are big competitors in the market have facilities to improve this energies.
Making from 20% to 60% savings in energy expenses, that bythe way represents the 40% of total production expenses to the company.
