Prologue
First I want to thank God for giving me a nice pair of hands to type all this extensive information in the computer, without them you wouldn’t be reading this here by today. My father, Dr. Nelson Rochet Santoro was of tremendous help to me on thisproject because he encouraged me not make copy paste and to make my work unique of my knowledge, a product of dedication and sacrifice. He told me that to achieve great succes on what you do you have to harvest effort and hard work to achieve it. He took me to the School of Law Library of Puerto Rico in the UPR (Universidad de Puerto Rico),-and-I-also-went-to Alberto M. Lazaro Library also at theUPR. After going to the UPR I went to the library of “La Interamericana” and photocopied the newspaper of El Mundo, where it shows the news from the time and how the press showed it to Puerto Rico back in the days (1961). It was everything a great experience where I acquired knowledge and passion for history.

I. Introduction
This presentation’s topic I will be exposing for the public interestis about President Kennedy and the Bay of Pigs. It is a piece of work worthy of reading. My motivation towards selecting this topic (President Kennedy and The Bay of Pigs) was that I had heard a part of this topic but didn’t know quite sure what the whole story was about. When I then had the opportunity to choose and investigate about the topic, I chose it without thinking twice. I thought itwould be a piece of knowledge that I by myself would get from reading and investigating in the University’s library and it would give me more overall knowledge about world history. In other hand, I already knew half of the conflict of Bay of Pigs so I thought it would be simpler to take this topic I have a bit of knowledge about it. This topic also motivated me because it has to do with the ColdWar, I always wanted to investigate more about that part of history because I never had done any research about the Cold War. My interest on what I’m going to be presenting is the whole all about the conflict of Bay of Pigs. It will include every aspect possible of the topic. I will be exposing what was happening at the time where that conflict happened, why and what were all the causes of theconflict itself, what role played president Kennedy during the conflict, the undercover story of the CIA playing an important role in the conflict, how, why, when, the if of the conflict and the consequences of the conflict. I believe I will be exposing a complete panoramic view about the whole conflict which is a small chapter of the Cold War and it will show the sneaky ways of the United Statesentering and invading other Countries. It’s an excellent piece of work that with all the information provided here it will help the reader understand, comprehend and visualize a better picture of the whole conflict. It will also have a visual part with pictures of the conflict so the reader not only can get all the facts right, the viewer will get a visual part of pictures that show some scenesof the conflict going sown pictured by different journalists and also it will have the newspaper of the time, showing how the newspaper informed the people of the conflict. With this all around facts and photos of my work the reader will get more knowledge of this chapter of the world’s history.

II. Presentation of Facts

In 1945, theUnited States and Soviet Union were allies, triumphant in World War II, which ended with a great victory to the Soviet and American forces over Adolf Hitler's Nazi empire in Europe. But after a few years, this wartime allies became a weird way of enemies, locked in a global struggle of military, political, economic, ideological to prevail in a new Cold War.
