Reward, Punishment and Justice: In theory and in contemporary Mexican Society.
Elements of justice:
* Whatjustice involves
* Justice is like ethics about human beings, is the about being just to human beings. Justice also involves the distribution of goods, the aspects to take in account when wedispense of them, also how can we dispense reward or punishment fairly.
* I agree with these element because human beings are the only living thing we know that can think, analyze, havesentimental feelings… So justice only applies to humans because the actions of an animal are purely based upon instinct they don’t act that way because they considered that it was the right thing to do, theyonly do it because they were hungry, or thirsty… Instead of humans who do have the ability to considerer if an actions is good or bad, ethical or not.
* Ex. The animals that harm humans, inthe zoo or in other animal conservatories, we cannot punish an animal because it hurt somebody because we put the animal in there and if he did hurt him he was either feeling threatened or he wasplaying, and the only thing we should do is send him to another place were humans whit no knowledge about them can’t go near them because he doesn’t have the characteristics of an animal who goes nearhumans, not because he is a ban animal.
* Concern with past events
* Justice is about past events; this means that human beings justice is about what they have done instead of what they willdo or could do, because of the uncertainty that it will be done. Although the future acts could be consider when accomplishing someone.
* I agree that justice should be only based upon doneactions because the actions that someone will do, are not certain who can change his mind, not do it or fail, and if we punish or reward that someone before his actions and he did not complete them,...
