The Capulates and the Montagues are two enemy families of Verona, Italia. Romeo finds out that it is going to be a maskfeast in Capulate’s house, so he decides to go wearing a mask.
There he meets and fells in love with Juliet. After the feast, they meet in secretand decide to get married.
Friar Lawrence married them in secret. The same day of the ceremony, Romeo accidentally killed Tybalt, Juliet’s cousin;therefore, he has to run away to Mantua.
The old Lord Capulate arranges marriage of Juliet and Paris, a nobleman. The young lady asks for helpto Friar Lawrence, who gives to her a potion, when she drinks it she will lie unconscious and seemingly lifeless.
Friar Lawrence promises tosend a message to Romeo asking to come at the hour of her awaking to take her away to Mantua. But the letter don’t arrive on time, Romeo learns aboutJuliet’s supposed death and thinks she is really dead. So he immediately returns to Verona.
When Romeo sees Juliet, he kills himself in themausoleum where she is. Then, when she wakes up, she sees Romeo dead and kills herself too.
After this tragedy, the Capulates and the Montagues swearfriendship and peace.
They learn that heated is a bad feeling, which leads to death. It is a pity, they couldn’t learn it before because theresults were the worst. Both families lost what they loved best in live, their own children.
