Introduction

The planet has experimented many changes, and one of them is the Global Warming that is affecting thehumanity nowadays.

In this Project you are going to know through activities that students did related to the topic mentioned before , how we can face this situation , and so, how prevent and take care our planet, because is where we live, and fresh air is needed to breath and survive.

We invite you through a learning based on tasks that will make you know how the students try to encourage aneducative community what is happening in the world, and how important it is. If we do not take into account this problem, in the future it will be worst.

Topic: Global Warming

Subject: Foreign Language (English).

Numbers of students: 20

Project Duration: One month(during English classes) 4 hours per week.

Goals and general objectives of the project:

• To inform the educative community about Global Warming.

• To implement green spaces inside of the educative community.

Description of the project:

The intention of this Project is the students to research about what is happening in the world about global warming, Pollution, recycling,etc.
According to their research they have to present in the classroom about the topic that the teacher appointed to each group, of a total of 20 students formed in 4 groups, they will inform their classmates about what is happening nowadays about their topic. Then, Students have to create posters, of how they can prevent Pollution, recycling, etc. These posters will be pasted around school toinform and alert the community.
Finally to end the Project the students must install green zone areas in the School.

Learning Objectives:

• Students will be able to know about the global warming topic.

• Students will be able to know what is affecting the global warming and what we can do to care our planet.

• Students will be able to learn vocabulary related to theenvironment and global warming.

• Students will be able to develop the cognitive area and reinforce values with this kind of activities.

• Students will be able to create the material that they must paste the posters in the more attended places from school.

• Students will be able to respect the time of the project for each stage with the chores mentioned before and also, they mustkeep the cleaning and decoration.

Questions guidelines:

• How would you reduce Global Warming effect?

• Do you know about the Eco-Schools Program? Do you think that their goal is achieved?

• How many do schools use these programs?
