1. Introduction

The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to detail the tasks and responsibilities of (hereinafter, the Vendor) in relation to the contract with (hereinafter, the Organization) for .

1.1 Background

[Example: The Organization is contracting to provide for the services to remove the existing copier equipment anddeploy a new fleet of equipment. The Vendor shall maintain the equipment per the Service Level Agreement.]

2. Scope

This SOW shall apply to the term stated in the contract. < DESCRIBE FULLY ALL WORK RELATED TO THIS CONTRACT> [Example:

1. The contract goes into effect and shall terminate on .
2. The current copier fleet shall be removed and transitioned into a new placement.
3. TheVendor shall install 85 digital copiers per the attachment A (list of locations with monthly copy volumes) for the yearly cost of $.
4. The contract includes all equipment, installation, removal, maintenance, upgrades and all supplies (excluding paper and staples).
5. This SOW shall be done in the manner stated by the Copier Program Service Level Agreement agreed to by both the Vendor and theOrganization.
6. This statement of work is subject to all conditions and requirements of the initial bid by the Vendor.]

3. Tasks

3.1 General Requirements

7. The Vendor shall submit a cost proposal with an associated project management plan addressing the tasks specified in the SOW
8. Subtasks not specified in the SOW will be identified and include associated costs by project and task,milestones, and deliverable dates
9. All written deliverables must be phrased in terms and language that can be easily understood by non-technical personnel (e.g., laypersons without subject matter expertise)
10. All document deliverables must be in formats (hard copy and electronic) as specified by the customer/client - at a minimum, the formats must be in industry accepted standards (e.g., MS Word,MS PowerPoint, MS Project)
11. The customer/client will complete a review of each submitted deliverable within specified working days for the date of receipt
12. A kickoff meeting will be held at a location and time selected by the Organization where the Vendor and its staff will be introduced to the Organization.
13. The Vendor and/or its staff must have knowledge and expertise of theenvironment (e.g., platforms, software, applications, network, tools, etc.) for which work is to be performed
14. All items of this agreement shall be done in accordance with the Service Level Agreement.

3.2 Mandatory Tasks and Associate Deliverables

15. The Vendor shall remove all of the previous contracted equipment in preparation fordeployment of the new equipment.
16. A removal schedule shall be created to match the deployment schedule.
17. The removal schedule shall be approved by the Organization’s Project Manager before work begins removing any equipment.
