Should governments spend money on space exploration, or should they spend the money on problems here first?

It is a normalreaction of humans to dig for more, to go further than what they can see, it includes space exploration. For many years the governments of the US, Russia, Canada, China, the European Union, Japan and Indiahave spent more than 1 trillion dollars investing on these kinds of activities. So nowadays there are many problems around the world like lack of education, abortion, global warming, contamination,and the list will go on but these governments don’t do anything about it.
In my opinion, I do think that governments should spent more money on their national issues, than on space exploration becausein the aspect of education is their nations’ future the one that will be suffering years later the consequences. There are many children around the world that they either don’t have a propereducation or they even attend to school because they don’t have enough money, or maybe they are orphans, but the issue here is that if those kids don’t get an education then they probably won’t have a goodfuture, they won’t succeed in this world full of competition.
Another polemic problem is world hunger, which everyday grows more and more. So what should the government do? Instead of spending thosehigh amounts of money that they get with all those taxes that they ask for, they should start making something sort of a campaign to stop this and begin to improve their country, and start to care moreabout other people and just not them, because the fact that we have a house, food every day and sometimes we don’t even care about it, we should start thinking more about others and not justourselves.
Nevertheless, I also think that the authorities, as the president and the cabinet, should spend money on space exploration, because as I said before humans will always like to look beyond than...
