Space Exploration

Space exploration is one of the priorities nowadays. It has been practicing since early times because people always want to know something else about life and universe. It has tobe considered that there are positive and negative consequences in this ambit.
People are really worried about the huge amount of money that is wasted in space. Maybe moneyshould be used on improving the sad situation for inhabitants that suffer extreme poverty. Many people want to know why we should spend money on space exploration when there are somany problems on Earth.
Is spite of the money needed for exploration, it has many profits for medicine, agriculture, technology, security and economy. It can save a large numberof lives through medical and technological advances. It also helps to count on weather forecast that benefits the agriculture; especially because climatic changes are identifiedand understood much earlier than they occur which helps in preparing for the worst when storms, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes happens. On the other hand, the police are able tolocate lost or abandoned vehicles and criminals using global positioning system for transportation and investigation.
In my opinion, much money is spent on this, I am agree with theidea of spending money to help people but the real dimensions of the social needs are out of proportion with the money spent in space. There are other unnecessary expenses thatshould be diminished such as in gambling, alcohol and tobacco products which cost hundred times more than space exploration. Furthermore, this science can avoid asteroids to reachEarth and save our lives. In addition, it promotes international cooperation so the expenses are divided between many rich countries, which work together to have better results.
