SIDDHARTHA
Capítulo 1. EL HIJO DEL BRAHMÁ.
The novel opens with this guy named Siddhartha in ancient I La novela se abre con este tipo llamado Siddharta en la antigua India. He and his best friend Govinda belong to the elite Brahman caste, which is like the ancient India equivalent of being born into the Hilton family. Él y su mejor amigo Govinda pertenecer a la élite de la casta brahmán,que es como el equivalente de la India antigua de haber nacido en la familia Hilton.
Siddhartha is the Golden Boy of his community: men want to be him and women want to be with him. Siddharta es el "Golden Boy" de su comunidad: los hombres quieren ser él y las mujeres quieren estar con él.
Even though Siddhartha participates in the holy sacrifices, meditation practices, and discussions ofthe adult Brahman, he's not satisfied. He seeks enlightenment (otherwise known as Inner Peace), and feels that he has learned all he can from his teachers and books. At dinnertime, Govinda gets up, but Siddhartha remains deep in contemplation. En lacena, Govinda se levanta, pero Siddharta sigue siendo profunda en la contemplación.
