Silas Marner is a very good weaver who lives in the village of Raveloe, which has come after leaving a small Christian congregation in which he was wrongly accused of a robbery forwhich he had always been his best friend, and his friend steals also to the woman he was to marry but they did not marry because they had no money.
In Raveloe, Silas decided to leave the village becausepeople were not very friendly for this reason Silas decides to work day and night to save much money and so the years passed and people did not recognize silas.
