Brazil achieved a score of 33.4 on the MasterCard Mobile Payments Readiness Index, driven by high scores in Mobile CommerceClusters and fairly consistent scores in Infrastructure, Financial Services, and Environment.
Consumer Readiness is commensurate with the other measures of readiness on the Index, giving Brazil anoverall ranking of 16. The regulatory environment is not seen as favorable to mobile payments compared to other countries.
