It is called solar cooking, this helps cook food using no power only sunlight and it is very simpleto use. Just with a box and foil you can cook as good as if you were cooking in your fancy kitchen.

Solar cookers are reallyeasy to build. You can either buy them (which are very cheap) or you can make your own. If you are building one you need a box and foil. In orderto get the sun’s attention you need to cover the box with foil and then you put your ingredients in it, simple as that. Then you wait the timeyou need in order to get your food cooked.

This method should be used all around the world, it has many advantages. First you save energy, nouse of electricity or gas and therefore save money. And if you are one of those who cook with charcoal you will also save on trees and theenvironment will be pleased. But not all the people have the same opportunities we have. In poor places like Africa where the temperature is very highthis material should be promoted. Many women walk about two miles a day to get wood to cook on fire and breathing this smoke all day long isnot healthy for the lungs. They also get sick by drinking contaminated water from stank, lakes, rivers and they can boil it with solar energy.
