In today’s society two of the most popular musician or Rappers in the world right now are Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa. While their musicfalls into the same category of music and is extremely similar, Wiz Khalifa is ten times better than Mac Miller. This can be seen in both commercial success and criticalsuccess for Wiz Khalifa when compared to Mac Miller.
When compared in record sales Wiz Khalifa’s music sells a lot better commercially when compared to Mac Miller’smusic. Wiz Khalifa’s last album, Rolling Paper, went double Platinum; Mac Miller’s last album K.I.D.S. only went gold. Also Wiz Khalifa has had multiple songs in the top10 with Black and Yellow reaching number one on the Billbord top 100, while Mac Miller has only had one song, Donald Trump, only barly reached the top 20 peaking atnumber 18.
Also when compared critically Wiz Khalifa has had a lot more success critically than Mac Miller. His album Rolling Paper received good reviews, getting asixty-nine on metacritic. HipHopDX writer Omar Burgess called it "catchy and melodic" and praised it as “one of the best rap album of the year”. Mac Miller on the otherhand did not get as lucky with the review of his last album, K.I.D.S., which only got a fifty-five on metacritic. HipHopDX writer Omar Burgess called it “immature andunderdevelopeda” and said “other than Donald Trump this album is worth nothing”.
In conclusion Wiz Khalifa is better than Mac Miller hands down. He has achived both morecritical success and commercial success. Everything Wiz Khalifa has done is better than Mac Miller therefore in no way at all is Mac Miller better than Wiz Khalifa!
